The South African Hockey Association is pleased to confirm that the SA Hockey Indoor Interprovincial Tournament (IPT) will take place from 25–28 February, in collaboration with KZN Coastals Hockey, and with SPAR and Tops at SPAR proudly confirmed as Title Sponsors of the event once again.
The tournament will be hosted across two venues, with the A Section contested at UKZN Westville, while the B Section will take place at Thomas More College.
A total of eight teams will compete in each of the Men’s and Women’s A Sections, while the B Sections will feature four teams apiece. The Indoor IPT remains a vital part of South Africa’s national selection pathway, while also contributing significantly to the growth of indoor hockey and the long-term build-up toward the Indoor Hockey World Cup in 2029.
In the Women’s tournament, Western Province return as defending champions, while Southern Gauteng will look to defend their title in the Men’s competition.
