SA Hockey Men Named for December Test Series Against India

South African Hockey Association (“SAHA”) is delighted to announce the SA Men’s squad selected to take on India in an exciting three-match home test series in the Western Cape this December. The world-class rivalry returns to South Africa with matches scheduled for 7 December in Stellenbosch and 9–10 December at Hartleyvale Stadium.

The series marks another important step in South Africa’s high-performance journey as the team builds toward the 2026 World Cup cycle, and offers local fans the rare opportunity to watch some of the country’s biggest stars on home soil.

There is also the opportunity for five players to potentially earn their first cap as Damian Knott, Young Player of the 2025 IPT, is joined by Gianluca Virissimo, Michael Horan, Tevin Petersen and View Mbata as uncapped players for the South African team.
