WP Peninsula has been unstoppable throughout the tournament, and their final hurdle against Eastern Gauteng was no different. With the title on the line and the promise of promotion to the A Section in 2025, the team delivered a commanding performance.
Isabella Booyens led the charge with two goals, while Tanya Pieterse, Emily Bezuidenhout, Lize Steyn, and Jesse Gradwell each added to the scoreboard. The 7-0 victory cemented WP Peninsula as the 2024 Women’s B Section champions.
The silver medal was secured by the Northern Daisies before their final match, while Eastern Province edged out KZN Mynahs for the bronze on goal difference.

Men’s B Section: SACD Claims Historic Title
The Men’s B Section final brought together SACD and Free State in a thrilling rematch of their Friday pool game. Despite Free State’s struggles in their earlier encounter, they drew first blood in the final, with Esmin Ontong firing home the opener.
However, SACD wasted no time leveling the score through Vaughn van Reenen, and from that moment, they never looked back. Gertian van der Linde struck a crucial goal at the hooter, followed by Courtney Halle’s finishing touch in the final quarter, sealing a 3-1 win and a historic B Section title for SACD.
SG Nuggets secured bronze with an exhilarating 3-1 win over KZN Mynahs, while Northern Daisies overcame Northern Cape to round out the tournament.
