SG Nuggets kicked off their campaign with an emphatic 7-2 win over Northern Cape. Adams Mesach was the standout performer, netting a hat-trick. Mbulelo Ncube, Jordan Gongo, Kago Phetlhu, and Nashaan Matroos also added their names to the scoresheet. Northern Cape’s two goals from Hayden Grey and Thomas Waddell were mere consolation in the one-sided affair.

Free State appeared to be cruising to victory with a 2-0 halftime lead over Northern Daisies, thanks to an Abraham Delport brace. However, the Daisies staged a late comeback, with David Baxter scoring to pull one back before Liam Elkington equalized with just two minutes remaining, ending the match 2-2.
With the top five teams separated by only two points, Wednesday’s matches will be pivotal in determining who gains an edge in this highly competitive division.
