South African Hockey is proud to announce the SA Hockey Men’s squad selected to represent the country at the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup.

The 20-player squad brings together an exciting combination of international experience, athleticism and emerging talent as South Africa prepares to compete against the best teams in world hockey.
The squad includes captain Dayaan Cassiem and experienced campaigners Mustapha Cassiem, Nic Spooner, Sam Mvimbi, Andrew Hobson and Calvin Davis. They are joined by a number of players who have continued to make an impact throughout South Africa’s recent international programme.
South Africa will head into the global showpiece determined to build on the progress made by the team in recent seasons and to proudly represent the country on the world stage.
