Highlanders vs Crusaders
Crusaders by 3
The Highlanders have picked up some impressive wins in the past few weeks against strong oposition but the in-form Crusaders (unbeaten since round 2) should edge it. The Crusaders are the most balanced side in the tournament and should grind out a win through their superior pack.
Rebels vs Brumbies
Brumbies by 7
The two top performing sides have both been incredibly inconsistent this season but the Brumbies would view themselves as favourites in Melbourne after a morale boosting win last week against the Bulls.
Hurricanes vs Reds
Hurricanes by 12
After a disappointing loss to the Sharks the Hurricanes will enjoy the comforts of home when they host the Reds. The Reds have improved a little but are unlikely to win in New Zealand against an in-form side.
Waratahs vs Bulls
Waratahs by 9
Their terrible start behind them, the Waratahs will look to continue their three game unbeaten run when they face the Bulls that were completely flat in Canberra last week. Pressure will be on the Bulls to improve on their performance but a Tahs side that is starting to gain continuity should be able to dictate the play.
Sunwolves vs Stormers
Stormers by 21
Both sides are coming off a bye. The Stormers should win this encounter easily with their pack setting up the platform to exploit the average Sunwolves defense.
Cheetahs vs Kings
Cheetahs by 15
The Cheetahs might struggle against international opposition but they continue to play for the full 80 minutes, a feat which the Kings has hardly accomplished this season. Both sides have poor defensive structures but the Cheetahs should have more possession and exploit it to their advantage.
Lions vs Blues
Lions by 8
The Lions will be thankful for their bye after being hammered by the Hurricanes and should return to winning ways this week against the weakest New Zealand side. The Blues have shown glimmers of promise this season and despite winning their last three matches are likely to come up short against the high intensity Lions.
Jaguares vs Sharks
Sharks by 8
The Sharks will be buoyed by their win against the Hurricanes last week, a win which could spur them on to a place in the playoffs should they win the majority of their final encounters. The Jaguares are an unpredictable side but the solid platform provided by the Sharks forwards should allow the Sharks to capitalize off the discipline infringements the Jagaures are likely to make.
