Crusaders vs Warataths

Crusaders by 5

The Tah’s have won their last four albeit against three South African sides and the weakest team from the Australian Conference. They have improved but not enough to win away at the Crusaders who remain one of the top three sides at present.

Reds vs Sunwolves

Reds by 8

The Sunwolves will take a lot of heart from their draw against the Stormers last week, but aren’t likely to repeat that performance against the Reds in Brisbane. The Reds might have been very poor so far this season but the Japanese have been poor travelers so far while the Reds have won their last two at home.

Chiefs vs Rebels

Chiefs by 16

The Rebels have started to run out of puff in recent weeks and could struggle away from home. The Chiefs are coming off a bye and a loss before that and will certainly be fired up to ensure they finish first in the New Zealand conference. A must win game for them.

Force vs Blues

Blues by 4

The bottom sides in their respective groups, the Blues coming off a hiding inflicted by the Lions while the Force had a bye last week. The Blues have been incredibly inconsistent throughout the tournament but should be able to beat a Force side that doesn’t have much going for them on attack.

Lions vs Jaguares

Lions by 12

The Lions thumped the Blues last week, with their attacking form arguably the best it has been for years. The Jaguares have struggled on defense so far this season and the high pace of the Lions combined with their structurual approach to match the Argentines should see them score freely.

Sharks vs Kings

Sharks by 21

The Sharks have reversed their fortunes somewhat in the last month, picking up some vital wins against top sides. They should be far too strong for the 60 minute Kings at home, a bonus point is highly likely.

Bulls vs Stormers

Stormers by 3

Both sides have limped in recent weeks, and despite having particularly easy draws, both have been unable to find anything resembling form. The Stormers will keep it very simple and should have the edge in the forwards, while the Bulls have been unable to troulbe the better sides throughout the competition.
