Sunderland v Arsenal

Sam : 1 – 3 WP

I don’t see anything but an Arsenal victory. The Gunners dropped points in their last fixture against Middlesbrough and will be keen to put things right against the bottom of the log team. Sunderland are showing no improvement at all, and I think their slump will continue this week.

Dirk : 0 – 3 WP

It’s the type of game Gunners fans will be looking forward to.  Sunderland are a team that look like they’re getting ready for relegation already. Arsenal had a blip at Boro but should enjoy putting a few past the Black Cats.

Marcel : 0 – 2 WP

Sunderland can’t buy a point, let alone three. Easy win for the Ozil & Sanchez show, unless of course one of them get injured. Sunderland odds on favourites to be relegated yet again.

Sporting Bet Odds 8.5 / 5.25 / 1.363

RESULT: Sunderland 1 – 4 Arsenal

Man United v Burnley

Sam : 3 – 0

United will be baying for blood against Burnley, after their humiliation at the Bridge last weekend. As much as I enjoyed seeing United being walloped by the Plastics, I dont see them dropping points against Burnley. A comfortable United victory at home. Burnley are more United level haha

Dirk : 2 – 1

United will be too good at home for Burnley and Jose will need a win after two big games where United were extremely disappointing. Expect a goal from Burnley to give them a scare though.

Marcel : 1 – 0

Mourinho will want a clean sheet above all else and will hope to secure a lead before half-time. The longer the game goes without a United goal the more tension there will be.

Sporting Bet odds 1.2 / 6.5 / 19

RESULT: disappointing 0 – 0

Middlesbrough v Bournemouth

Sam : 2 – 2

Middlesbrough and Bournemouth have both impressed this season. For that reason I have to go with a scoring draw for this fixture.

Dirk : 1 – 0 WP

After an excellent performance against Arsenal I really feel Boro will win this game. The Cherries have been good this season but Riverside could be a tough trip for them.

Marcel : 0 – 1

Bournemouth win for me. Boro aren’t good enough for the Prem and the battle among the bottom clubs counts extra in the battle to avoid relegation, that is all the motivation Bournemouth will need.

Sporting Bet odds 2.5 / 3.15 / 3.15

RESULT: Boro 2 – 0 Bournemouth

Spurs v Leicester

Sam : 2 – 1

This will be an exciting one. Although it will be a very close game, I think Spurs will edge it. They are a much better team, plus they playing at home. Leicester have looked bang average in the league this season. They enjoyed a comfortable victory last weekend, but I don’t think the same will happen this weekend. Spurs to continue their unbeaten run and get all three points against the English Champions.

Dirk : 1 – 1 WP + MP

Spurs have been struggling for goals recently, and Leicester have been extremely inconsistent. Draw for me here.

Marcel : 1 – 0

Spurs haven’t lost a game yet and Leicester are a shadow of their  2016 selves. Despite their slump in the goal-scoring department they should have enough to cruise past last season’s pretenders

Sporting Bet odds 1.615 / 4 / 5.6

RESULT: Spurs 1 – 1 Leicester

Watford v Hull

Sam : 1 – 0 WP+MP

Hull have really battled this season. They started off well but completely fell of the pace. Watford to edge them at home.

Dirk : 2 – 1 WP

Hull need a break but they won’t get it here. Watford to win at home quite comfortably.

Marcel : 1 – 0 WP+MP

Hull won their opening two fixtures and then had a horrible run of fixtures against the top 4 challengers. While Watford are not going to challenge for honours they are quite a tough side to break down at home and should take the points.

Sporting Bet odds 1.75 / 3.75 / 4.8

RESULT: Watford 1 – 0 Hull

Hopefully less shit on the field in the match at Hull

West Brom v Man City

Sam: 0 – 4 WP+MP

West Brom will set out to defend the entire game and frustrate their opponents. I think City have too much of quality up front however and will win comfortably. City have had an average last few games and will look to bounce back against West Brom. Aguero to cause havoc.

Dirk: 0 – 3 WP

After another disappointing result for the Citizens they’ll be extremely motivated to get a result here, and I can see them running away with the game against the Baggies.

Marcel : 1 – 2 WP

WBA have taken one point from City in the last 10 league matches (in 2011). They won’t win this game but don’t expect City have it all their own way. Much like the Liverpool match last week, WBA will be a nuisance right to the final whistle.

Sporting Bet odds 7.5 / 4.8 / 1.444

RESULT: WBA 0 – City 4

Just another reason to love Palace

Crystal Palace v Liverpool

Sam : 1 – 3 WP

You just know that Christian Benteke will score against his former team. But it wont be enough to stop the Reds from continuing their fine form . It will be a tough game no doubt, but LFC will come out victorious. Mane and Firmino to shine.

Dirk : 1 – 2 WP

Liverpool are the form EPL side right now and I think they’ll have enough to see off an ever improving Palace side.

Marcel : 1 – 1

In the last six meetings between these two Palace, surprisingly, have won 3! Liverpool play some fast and entertaining football under Klopp but from time to time they are their own worst enemy and lose to teams one would traditionally consider to be sure things. Palace is one of those teams. Benteke might have something to prove, I’m going for a draw.

Sporting Bet odds 5 / 4 / 1.7

Everton v West Ham

Sam : 2 – 1 WP

Koeman’s men have looked rather solid this season despite their loss over the weekend. Slav’s West Ham however have looked woeful. Everton to get back to winning ways this weekend.

Dirk: 1 – 1

Everton should never has lost to Burnely. They’re a good team out of sorts, and West Ham seem to be rediscovering their form. A good away point for the Hammers for me.

Marcel : 1 – 0 WP

This fixture demonstrates the turn-around in West Ham fortunes since the arrival of Slavin Bilic. West Ham have only won once in the last 12 league matches between them, in 2016 and away. Which Everton side is going to turn up this week? I’m going with Everton purely on the fact that WHU could only beat Sunderland by 1 and weren’t convincing.

Sporting Bet odds 1.8 / 3.8 / 4.5

RESULT: Everton 2 – 0 WHU

Southampton v Chelsea

Sam : 1 – 3 WP

After watching Chelsea humiliate United at the Bridge (haha) , I don’t see anything but a Chelsea win this weekend. They looked strong at the back and fantastic up front. Chelsea to cruise.

Dirk : 1 – 1

Chelsea were excellent against Man United, but Southampton are showing they are hard to break down. I can see this being a tactical 1 – 1 draw.

Marcel : 0 – 2 WP+MP

Chelsea will be riding on a high after their big win on the weekend, equally, though, Southampton will be on cloud nine after holding City in Manchester. For long stretches of the game, the Saints were even the better team but if the luck is with you, (goal in 30 seconds, only a yellow for a knee high kick) and the referee, then you’re unbeatable.

Sporting Bet odds 3.25 / 3.5 / 2.25

Stoke v Swansea

Sam : 1 – 1

You never really know what to expect with Swansea or Stoke. I’m going for a draw mainly because I have no clue what will happen at the Brittania stadium. Joe Allen to score again? Maybe :

Dirk : 2 – 1 WP

Now that Stoke have settled after some early season confusion they have looked the part. Swansea have looked good in patches but they need goals. I think we’ll see them hit form soon but not away at Stoke.

Marcel : 1 – 0 WP

The little Swiss maestro to dominate? We can only hope this fixture delivers a winner similar to the goals last week by Shaqiri. Skip ahead to 1:06 on the video below.

Sporting Bet odds 2 / 3.6 / 4

RESULT: Stoke 3 – 1 Swansea
