The South African Team has won the 2014 FIM Africa Motocross of African Nations Championship which was held over the weekend in Kitwe, Zambia.

The Zimbabwean team managed to secure second place. Apart from Zimbabwe and South Africa, four other African countries took part namely, Kenya, Uganda, Botswana and the hosts Zambia.

The FIM Africa Motocross of African Nations Championship is one of the few motorcycle events recognised as a “Team” event, where the points of the official riders are tallied to determine who the winning African Nation will be for that particular year.
