Dirk:  Sunderland 0 – 2 Man United

United have started playing a much better brand of football lately, and I expect them to take this to the Stadium of Light. Sunderland don’t have enough right now to beat United, even though they are massively improved.

Marcel: Sunderland 0 – 2 Manchester United

Something’s changed at Utd. The attacking play is a little more flowing, there are even first half goals. Sunderland scored two late goals against Liverpool last time but I can’t see Kolo Toure sized gaps in front of De Gea.

RESULT: Sunderland 2 -1 Manchester Utd

Total humiliation for United. Uninspired, disinterested, garbage. If LVG doesn’t go soon there will be serious long term repercussions.

Dirk: Bournemouth 1 – 1 Stoke

Both teams have had brilliant runs of form but have been off it lately. Expect it to be nervy but settle down for a draw.

Marcel: Bournemouth 2 – 1 Stoke

Stoke have struggled recently. Bournemouth are easy on the eye with their counter attacking style. Poor finishing will hurt Stoke.

RESULT: Bournemouth 1 – 3 Stoke

Stoke finally found their way again with a resounding win.

Dirk: Palace 0 -1 Watford

Even though I am a big fan of this Palace side, they really have struggled to score and assert themselves in matches. Watford look more confident and more likely to score. Low scoring but Watford to sneak it.

Marcel: Palace 0 – 1 Watford

Palace are struggling since Bolasie got injured. Watford are good at battling and getting the points.

RESULT: Palace 1 – 2 Watford

A double from Deeney gives Watford an away win.

Dirk: Everton 2 – 0 West Brom

Everton finally playing the way that Marcel makes them play on Xbox! Expect a good win here again for Martinez’s men.

Marcel: Everton 3 – 0 West Brom

Just read Dirks reason and laughed! It’s simple really, cross the ball for Lukaku, collect the spoils. If Everton can get their wide men firing they should win a lot of games. Barkley looks on form and they can create from the middle too.

RESULT: Everton 0 – 1 West Brom

How does Martinez keep his job? 6 home defeats this season and always a let down after they appear to have what it takes to kick on.

Dirk: Norwich 1 – 2 West Ham

Norwich are slipping closer and closer into the relegation battle. After last week’s lose against Villa you can’t see them beating this West Ham side – who are pushing to stay in Top 4 contention.

Marcel: Norwich 0 – 2 West Ham

Payet is fit equals 50% chance WHU win. Opposition is Watford equals 100% win for West Ham. Hope there’s no egg on my face on Sunday.

RESULT: Norwich 2 – 2 West Ham

West Ham rescued a point after going 2 down. Norwich now on the cusp of the relegation zone.

Dirk: Swansea 1 – 2 Southampton

The Saints are coming into a decent run of form. Swansea have looked better but have been far from convincing. I see the Saints having that little bit extra in this one.

Marcel: Swansea 0 – 1 Southampton

Difficult game to pick about a month ago but Koeman has managed to kick on from the last gasp winner at Old Trafford and there’s only one winner here.

RESULT: Swansea 0 – 1 Southampton

Fabiansky did well to keep it to only one goal. Southampton finding their form at the right time.

Dirk: Chelsea 2 – 1 Newcastle

Chelsea have been improving and Newcastle are massively inconsistent. Newcastle could surprise but think at home Chelsea will have enough about them to see them off.

Marcel: Chelsea 2 – 1 Newcastle

Chelsea are improving and on quite a run and unbeaten since JM was dismissed. Newcastle spent a fair bit in January but the opposition has a lot of quality. Even the ugly one is scoring goals again.

RESULT: Chelsea 5 – 1 Newcastle

Chelsea up to 12th, Newcastle looking in trouble again.

Dirk: Arsenal 1 – 1 Leicester

Top of the table clash. Both with a lot to prove but the momentum with the Foxes. I think it will end a draw. At home Arsenal should really have enough about them to come out of the game with a point.

Marcel: Arsenal 0 – 1 Leicester

If Arsenal win this game they bring City and themselves back into contention. If Leicester win, they bring Tottenham into the race and United into contention for the 4th spot. It’s a game that can really go either way as both have great pace and finishers but I want Leicester to win so sending good vibes.

RESULT: Arsenal 2 -1 Leicester

A dodgy penalty for Leicester and a player sent off. Arsenal get the winner in the 95th minute via Danny Welbeck.

Dirk: Villa 0 – 2 Liverpool

Villa got a massively encouraging win against Norwich but Liverpool should be strong enough to win here. Liverpool need a win really, and Klopp will send out a team to win.

Marcel: Aston Villa 1 – 1 Liverpool

This is my upset pick for the round. Liverpool have been shaky. Klopp alone isn’t the plaster required to cover the cracks at Anfield. Villa will be desperate to get out of the relegation zone, expect the unexpected.

RESULT: Villa 0 – 6 Liverpool

Sturridge made a rare appearance and in conjunction with Coutinho they effectively relegated Villa bar something sensational.

Dirk: Man City 2 – 1 Spurs

City have been here before losing an important game before going on a run towards the title. This is a game they have to win to stay in conversation around the title. I expect them to do exactly that.

Marcel: Manchester City 2 – 1 Tottenham

Here’s a chance for Pellegrini to prove he still has the dressing room despite his end of season exit. Failure to win here could spell the end of the City title challenge. I’m going for a home win and

RESULT: Manchester City 1 – 2 Spurs

The top 4 are now separated by only 6 points with 5th another 6 points back. For interests sake, 6th and 7th are another point behind.
