Dirk upstaged us all in a mad dash to the final whistle in the last two games and took the round convincingly. Perhaps he’ll start to climb the Superbru tables with 26 rounds remaining but in the meantime we have a fairly open round ahead with the only top 6 clash the one between Chelsea and the Scouser pack at Anfield. Would almost pay to see them squander another 3 goal lead.
RESULT: West Ham 1 – 1 Leicester City
West Ham 1 – 2 Leicester City
Moyes not a solution to much theses days let alone the problems at West Ham. Leicester will enjoy this trip and get some needed points.
West Ham 0 – 0 Leicester City
Leicester have a good record in this fixture and David Moyes showed he is to coaching what Mike Tyson is to intelligent conversation. But surely the desire to impress a new manager would galvanize the Hammers… Surely…
West Ham 0 – 2 Leicester City
Moyes is still a flop
MATCH Crystal Palace 2 – 1 Stoke City
Both teams have improved lately, but I don’t see either having enough about them to get all three points here.
Roy Hodgson on the other hand is to coaching what Dirk Vale is to predicting results. Gets it right once in a while, but usually off the mark. Stoke to see off Palace
Not the game to watch at 5pm on Saturday.
RESULT: Man United 1 – 0 Brighton
Brighton have been great this season but United will be looking to make up for the loss against Basel and at home it should mean 3 points.
United at home dont lose, they also dont concede very often. Its incredible how different they are away from Old Trafford. Routine win for Mourinho;s Men
Pogba is back baby.
RESULT: Newcastle 0 – 3 Watford
Marco Silva has been magic for Watford, and with distractions off the field for Newcastle I back Watford to win here.
I really like the Toon and Watford are a proper footballing team this year. At St. James I’m picking with my heart and going for a Magpies win.
Because that’s the score in the previous two meetings.
RESULT: Swansea 0 – 0 Bournemouth
Swansea are in big trouble and I can’t see where improvement will come for them. They need a big January window to stay up. Bournemouth to win, especially with their strikers beginning to click.
Bournemouth have turned on the form of late and Swansea have fallen asleep. I cant see Clement staying too much longer and Howe can help push him to the exit
Swansea are possibly the worst team to watch right now.
RESULT: Tottenham 1 – 1 West Brom
Manager-less West Brom couldn’t have had a worse first game post Pulis. Spurs to win at home easily here!
Spurs are too good for managerless West Brom. Also it doesnt matter what happens as North London is still Red one week later. How bad was Dele Ali!
It’s like Usain Bolt versus Pinocchio, you want the little wooden man to do well but you know Bolt would literally have to run on his hands blindfolded with a 5 minute handicap to make it a fair contest.
RESULT Liverpool 1 – 1 Chelsea
Difficult one to call, but Liverpool are the type of side to bother Chelsea, and I think Salah will have a lot to prove to his old employers. Liverpool to edge it for me.
The home team basically never win this match and its produced some classics. Conte and Klopp are two heart attacks waiting to happen and the way they defend at times it could happen sooner. I’m going with an early Liverpool goal followed by a late Chelsea one
The red team to lead by two and then give away most of the points in the second half? I think that’s how the script goes for Klopp teams
RESULT Southampton 4 – 1 Everton
Everton desperately need a manager. Unsworth is too inexperienced for what he faces at the helm of Everton. Even Southampton will pick them off at home.
Look, sometimes you pick something because you have no idea whats gonna happen. Hey look butterflies.
Two absolutely dreadful teams to watch at the minute. Could really go either way.
RESULT Burnley 0 – 1 Arsenal
Burnley are well organised and hard to break down. Arsenal are looking good after the win against Spurs, but the loss against Cologne asked questions. Draw for me.
Burnley are tie with Arsenal and just one point behind Spurs. Arsenal PL XI will be buoyant from a week off and the Spurs result, if SOL starts up front I think the Gunners will win
I think Arsenal have won the last six contests in the PL between these two and while Burnley have improved the other North Londoners should see them off.
RESULT: Huddersfield – Man City
Huddersfield have been great at home but City are on a roll here. Lots of players looking to score, and on song. I think it’ll all be too much for Huddersfield.
Huddersfield don’t have enough to stop this City side, but they will put up more effort than the Springboks in Ireland at least.
It could be three or four or even five depending on how well the first half goes.

This season we score things a little differently, we’ll award 3 points to the outright winner or 1 each for draws. The loser gets none!
