Two international breaks, two awful Manchester United games right after with draws against minnows Stoke and Liverpool. Have I mentioned how much I dislike the interruptions of World Cup qualifiers? Anyway, Tyron is cleaning up here with a little help from goals in the last 5 minutes which, while frustrating for me, is fantastic viewing for football fans across the planet and just another reason why the Premier League has such a massive following. Dirk and I must start winning a few rounds before Tyron disappears over the horizon.
RESULT: West Ham 0 – 3 Brighton
West Ham 2 – 1 Brighton
West Ham are sorting themselves out finally and Brighton are struggling. It has to be a West Ham win for me.
West Ham 2 – 0 Brighton
West Ham are looking a bit decent and Brighton have struggled on the road. I expect a relatively comfortable victory for Bilic men
West Ham 3 – 2 Brighton
The Hammers should win it as Brighton struggle but they are terrible in defense. That said, they have more points than Liverpool from their last 5 matches.
MATCH Huddersfield 2 – 0 Manchester United
United have been playing last years football lately, but think they’ll get back to winning ways against Huddersfield who aren’t scoring nearly enough right now.
Huddersfield will try hard, but Man United will have too much class for them even after a midweek game. Lukaku with one of the goals?
With the international break now a fading memory Jose can expect to start winning league matches again.
RESULT: Manchester City 3 – 0 Burnley
City are playing fantastic football lately, Burnley at home right now seems almost sadist. There will be at least 3 goals, but probably more.
Burnley have been fantastic so far this season and are a real credit in a league where the money has gone crazy. But Man City have so much money that eventually they were due on getting it right. It looks like they are getting it right.
RESULT: Newcastle 1 – 0 Crystal Palace
Palace are suddently improving, but so then are Newcastle. Up for sale, I can tell you now they’ll be advertising for new owners as best they can – especially as that will help Rafa stay a little longer…
I think the Toon are better at home and would rather not chirp Palace too much after the egg landed in the middle of my face last week.
RESULT: Stoke 1 – 2 Bournemouth
Both sides capable of much better, but both are really out of sorts right now. It has a draw written all over it.
The Cherries need to find form soon. The feel good factor is gone and Mordor is the last place you want to play at that point. Expect the orcs of Stoke to grunt their way to a victory.
I think this is a must win for Mark Hughes. His team has been quite poor this season despite much investment yet again. Can Bournemouth go to Stoke and steal the points? I don’t think so.
RESULT: Swansea 1 – 2 Leicester
Manager-less Leicester I think struggle away against Swansea here. Though Swansea have been struggling to score. Draw here for me!
A draw will be a good result for Swansea in my opinion while it will keep the champions from two years ago firmly rooted in the relegation zone. Its unreal that this “football” side won the league!
I gave Swansea some stick last week and it cost me points. The foxes have been rubbish again though, let’s wait for Christmas to see if they wake up early enough to survive again.

RESULT Southampton 1 – 0 WBA
Strange one this, I don’t trust either side to do enough to win… Another Draw!
I actually think this will be a draw, but each week I go against my gut for one game. Lets see the Saints snatch a last minute victory to deny Marcel a point.
Both not great at the moment. Place your bets if you think one of them wins it in the last 5 minutes.
RESULT Everton 2 – 5 Arsenal
The ‘They Should be Doing Better’ game of the weekend. One goal will seperate them, I think it’ll be scored by Arsenal.
Arsenal dont win away from home. Everton dont win. This game has draw written over it more than a Sunfoil Series cricket match
RESULT Tottenham 4 – 1 Liverpool
Liverpool were excellent scoring 7 in Europe but getting a point away at Madrid is an even bigger achievement. Spurs will find the goal to win it here.
Liverpool save their best for the big games. Tottenham are not as good as Wembly. Ill go for a sneaky Liverpool win. They will then lose to someone like Brighton next week
The German cheerleader tends to get good results against the top 6 and then fall over against the bottom 10. A draw at Spurs is a good result.
RESULT: Chelsea 4 – 2 Watford
Tempted to go for Watford here after they were as good as they were against Arsenal, but Chelsea are an effective side – especially at home. Just a goal between them, it will be a close game!
Because Watford were lucky not to lose to Arsenal (because Arsenal dont take chances) and Chelsea at home are a lot more ruthless
