Introducing the Mamelodi Sundowns FC kit for 2016/17
Puma has unveiled the new Mamelodi Sundowns FC Home and Away football kit inspired by Bafana Ba Style, a nickname reflecting the boldness and flair associated with a team that has won a record seven Premier Soccer League titles.
Now part of the growing PUMA football family which includes the likes of Italy, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund, the Tshwane-based team will run out onto the pitch wearing the Home PUMA shirt, shorts and socks for the first time in a CAF Champions League fixture on 23 August 2016.
With a yellow and green colourway the regular fit, 100% polyester Home jersey uses PUMA’s Dry CELL Technology to draw moisture away from the skin’s surface while playing. With no seams under the arms to prevent chafing, the underarm mesh gusset is designed for optimal fit and comfort. The lightweight and durable jersey has ventilation fabric to keep the players cool and comfortable on field.
The Bafana Ba Style Away kit has all the technical features of the Home jersey held together by a classic design in navy blue, a woven Mamelodi Sundowns badge on the right side of the chest and PUMA Cat logo on the left.
The Home shirt hits stores on 2 September and the Away shirt is available in October 2016, both retailing for R699 at PUMA stores and select retailers nationwide.
