The draft calendar for the recently announced new-look national motorcycle circuit racing championship, the SuperGP Champions Trophy 2014, has been announced. There will be eight rounds for the headline SuperGP and Super600 categories and seven rounds for the other categories.

The eighth and final round at Phakisa Freeway will also be the planned South African round of the FIM Superbike World Championship with SuperGP and Super600 the only national supporting categories.
The motorcycle only SuperGP Champions Trophy will be promoted and managed by GAS Sports and the race meeting format will be similar to the FIM Superbike World Championship, with practice and qualifying on Saturday and racing on Sunday.
