{"id":5535,"date":"2026-05-29T07:43:04","date_gmt":"2026-05-29T05:43:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.runridedive.com\/?p=5535"},"modified":"2026-06-01T07:44:07","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T05:44:07","slug":"proteas-women-to-embark-on-historic-t20i-tour-to-zimbabwe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.runridedive.com\/index.php\/2026\/05\/29\/proteas-women-to-embark-on-historic-t20i-tour-to-zimbabwe\/","title":{"rendered":"Proteas Women To Embark On Historic T20i Tour To Zimbabwe"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Cricket South Africa (CSA) and Zimbabwe Cricket are pleased to announce the first-ever T20 International (T20I) series between the Proteas Women and Zimbabwe, set to take place in Bulawayo from 11 &#8211; 19 September.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The five-match series will be hosted at the Queens Sports Club, with fixtures scheduled for 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 September.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The opening encounter will mark the maiden senior women\u2019s T20I clash between the two nations, following previous meetings involving the SA Emerging Women at the 2024 African Games T20 tournament in Ghana, as well as the One-Day International (ODI) Quadrangular Series featuring South Africa, India, Zimbabwe and Ireland in Potchefstroom in 2017.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>CSA Chief Executive Officer, Pholetsi Moseki, commented:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cThis is an important and exciting moment for women\u2019s cricket in Africa.
