Day Two of the 2026 South African Indoor Hockey IPT, powered by SPAR & Tops at SPAR, delivered statement wins, dominant set-piece displays and decisive momentum shifts as the semi-final line-ups across all sections were confirmed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The A Section continued at UKZN Westville Campus, while the B Section action unfolded at Thomas More College. With pool stages now complete, attention turns fully to knockout hockey.<\/span><\/p>\n

MEN \u2013 A SECTION<\/span><\/p>\n

Southern Gauteng maintained their strong form with a convincing 6\u20132 victory over Northern Blues. Early penalty corner efficiency set the platform before late goals ensured control of the contest.<\/span><\/p>\n

WP Peninsula produced a composed 6\u20130 performance against <\/span>Northerns<\/span> Daisies, combining disciplined defence with clinical finishing.<\/span><\/p>\n

SG <\/span>Witsies<\/span> delivered one of the most entertaining results of the day, defeating KZN <\/span>Mynahs<\/span> 6\u20133 in a contest filled with momentum swings. After trailing midway through the match, <\/span>Witsies<\/span> struck decisively in the final quarter to secure the win.<\/span><\/p>\n

Western Province closed out their fixture with a controlled 3\u20131 victory over KZN Raiders. A quick response to an early setback and a composed second half ensured the three points.<\/span><\/p>\n

Northern Blues opened the day in dominant fashion with a 6\u20131 win over SG <\/span>Witsies<\/span>, showcasing sharp attacking play and consistent set-piece execution.<\/span><\/p>\n

WP Peninsula edged KZN Raiders 2\u20131 in a tightly contested encounter before later securing a second win of the day with a 5\u20132 victory over KZN Inland.<\/span><\/p>\n

Western Province were clinical in their 5\u20130 win over KZN Inland and later defeated KZN Raiders 3\u20131 to continue building momentum.<\/span><\/p>\n

Southern Gauteng overcame Mpumalanga 5\u20131 in the morning session, but Northern Blues proved relentless later in the day with a commanding 6\u20132 victory over Southern Gauteng in one of the standout performances of the section.<\/span><\/p>\n

SG <\/span>Witsies<\/span> added a 4\u20132 win over Mpumalanga to keep their campaign competitive.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the pool phase concluded, the semi-final match-ups are now locked in and promise blockbuster encounters.<\/span><\/p>\n

KZN Inland A delivered one of the most dominant performances of the day, overpowering KZN Inland B 8\u20130 through relentless attacking pressure and efficient set pieces.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mpumalanga B rounded off the day with a spirited 6\u20133 victory over KZN Inland B in an entertaining contest that remained competitive deep into the fourth quarter.<\/span><\/p>\n

KZN <\/span>Mynahs<\/span> produced an attacking masterclass in their 11\u20132 victory over KZN Inland B, showcasing depth and pace throughout.<\/span><\/p>\n

KZN Inland B responded later with a confident 7\u20132 win over Mpumalanga B to close out the day positively.<\/span><\/p>\n
