Cricket South Africa (CSA) will be sending a 7-player squad to participate in the Hong Kong International Sixes 2024 which will be played from 01 to 03 November at the Kowloon Cricket Club, Hong Kong.<\/p>\n
The tournament which has not been played since 2017 will see defending champions South Africa, and 11 other teams, participate in this six-a-side cricket showcase.<\/p>\n
Leading the charge is Hollywoodbets Dolphins\u2019 JJ Smuts, an all-rounder renowned for his aggressive batting style, who will be pivotal in navigating the team’s tactics.<\/p>\n
Complementing him is Northern Cape Heat\u2019s Modiri Litheko, an emerging wicketkeeper-batsman known for his quick reflexes and adaptability in short format cricket.<\/p>\n
DP World Lions Evan Jones joins the batting lineup, while Knights\u2019 Jacques Snyman comes on board as a batting all-rounder.<\/p>\n
Momentum Multiply Titans\u2019 bowler Matthew Boast is set to challenge opponents, alongside Limpopo Impala\u2019s pace bowler Don Radebe, whose all-round skills enhance the team’s depth.<\/p>\n
Rounding out the squad is Knights\u2019 Aubrey Swanepoel, a first-class cricketer with experience in the Hong Kong Sixes.<\/p>\n
The team is being coached by SA U19 and Emerging Academy Head Coach Malibongwe Maketa.<\/p>\n
Together, this team combines leadership with talent, positioning them for a competitive edge on the international stage and places them in good stead to defend the title.<\/p>\n
