Cricket South Africa (CSA) has today revealed an exciting schedule for the 2024\/25 international home season.<\/p>\n
The Proteas Men will take on Sri Lanka in two Tests and Pakistan in an all-format tour, while the Proteas Women are set to host England for a multi-format tour.<\/p>\n
The international summer kicks off with a South Africa \u2018A\u2019 tour against Sri Lanka \u2018A\u2019, which will see the sides contest three 50-over matches (31 August – 04 September) and two four-day matches (08 – 18 September).<\/p>\n
The Proteas Men will then take on Sri Lanka in the first Test at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium in Durban from 27 November – 01 December, before Dafabet St George\u2019s Park in Gqeberha hosts the second Test from 05 – 09 December.<\/p>\n
The Proteas Women\u2019s tour against England will run concurrently, starting with a three-match T20 International (T20I) series from 24 – 30 November. The three-match One-Day International (ODI) series will follow at multiple venues across the country between 04 – 11 December, with the annual Black Day making its return to Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium on 08 December.<\/p>\n
The tour will also see Laura Wolvaardt and her charges take on England in the first women\u2019s Test match on home soil since 2002. The four-day encounter will be staged at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein from 15 – 18 December.<\/p>\n
Fans will get the opportunity to see the Proteas Men\u2019s white-ball outfit in December when Aiden Markram\u2019s T20I side take on Pakistan in three KFC T20Is from 10 – 14 December. Temba Bavuma will then lead the ODI group in as many ODIs from 17 – 22 December, with the fan favourite Pink Day marked for 22 December at the DP World Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.<\/p>\n
The men\u2019s final assignment of the summer will be a two-match Test series against Pakistan, starting with the Boxing Day Test at SuperSport Park in Centurion from 26 – 30 December, before Bavuma\u2019s side head to Cape Town for the New Year\u2019s Test at World Sports Betting Newlands Cricket Ground from 03 – 07 January.<\/p>\n
Tickets go on sale on 19 August.<\/p>\n
