PUMA Social Club Jozi will go out with a blast on Friday 20 September 2013 thanks to an explosive final night line-up of Jack Parow, PHFAT and H-BOMB.
This is the final hurrah for late night fun lovers who have embraced the Braamfontein club, queuing round the block every Friday night to get a chance to play with PUMA and rock to South Africa’s best local music talent including Desmond and the Tutus, Gazelle, The Frown, Yesterday’s Pupil & Tumi, The Muffinz, Toya Delazy, Zaki Ibrahim, Sassquatch, Taxi Violence, Spoek Mathambo and resident DJ Matt Suttner.
Dedicated to the After Hours Athlete who prefers catching 5am taxis over 5am runs, the PUMA Social Club Jozi made its mark on the metropolis, attracting an average of 900 hipsters and trendsters a week since its opening night on Friday 5 October 2012; registering over 10 000 guests on pumasocialjozi.com and a further 5 000 plus via the mobi site.
PUMA Marketing Director Brett Bellinger said: “Jozi and Braamies thanks everyone for playing with us this past year. Thanks for the patience in the queues and the party moves each and every night. We have enjoyed our stay but as they say, ‘all good things …’ We are sure to be back in some other form or fashion – look out 2014. Next starts Now. It’s been wild!”
The line-up for the next 2 weeks is: Shortstraw, Half ‘n half and resident DJ Matt Suttner on Friday 6 September; and Dirty Paraffin, Big Fkn Gun and Deader than Disco on Friday 13 September.
