Two international breaks, two awful Manchester United games right after with draws against minnows Stoke and Liverpool. Have I mentioned how much I dislike the interruptions of World Cup qualifiers? Anyway, Tyron is cleaning up here with a little help from goals in the last 5 minutes which, while frustrating for me, is fantastic viewing for football fans across the planet and just another reason why the Premier League has such a massive following. Dirk and I must start winning a few rounds before Tyron disappears over the horizon.
RESULT: Manchester United 1 – 0 Tottenham
Manchester United 1 – 2 Tottenham
Spurs are on a roll right now, and are looking like they can beat anyone. United lost to Huddersfield without much fight about them. Spurs for me here, even away at Old Trafford.
Manchester United 2 – 1 Tottenham
The Home team have won the last five encounters here and im pretty sure Mourinho will set up with the intention of avoiding defeat. I think at home the Red Devils could finish Harry Kane FC off in the end
Manchester United 1 – 0 Tottenham
Rumour is Bailey is back. Hopefully it’s enough to shore up what’s been a bit of a leaky defense in recent weeks.
MATCH Arsenal 2 – 1 Swansea
Swansea really struggling to score, and Arsenal at home should have enough chances to at least score two!
Arsenal started their three record signings together and scored 5. Swansea have an incredible record at the Emirates, but I think the Gunners will do well here
Swansea are struggling. Arsenal are finding their way back to top 4 form. A couple more wins might even see them in the top 4 by Christmas.
RESULT: Crystal Palace 2 – 2 West Ham
Hard one to call here because both sides are under performing massively. I’m not convinced by either side honestly. Draw for me here.
I cant bring myself to watch this game, predicting it is almost as hard. Lets see if either can produce football of above standard quality.
Palace had a great upset win against Chelsea but the Hammers are under pressure and this will be a game they have targeted for all three points.
RESULT: Liverpool 3 – 0 Huddersfield
Liverpool should win here, Huddersfield are doing brilliantly but Liverpool away can be intimidating. Liverpool to get a much needed win here.
Huddersfields high last week will surely not be recreated. Liverpool should have too much class for them. That being said, America should have had too much intelligence for Trump and we know how that ended
Huddersfield’s heroics were last week when they injured Jones and took advantage of Lindelof. Liverpool are shit at the back but there will be no such charity after the Klopp boys took 4 against Spurs.
RESULT: Watford 0 – 1 Stoke City
Watford could well have beaten Chelsea over the weekend and they’ll take this confidence and form into this game. Sparky is struggling this season and this will be another worrying loss for Stoke.
Watford are a very decent side and are quite enjoyable to watch. Stoke are punching well below their weight. I back Silva’s boys for the win
I’m enjoying Watford again this season. No stars. No glamour. Lots of grit and pace. Stoke are junk again.
RESULT: West Brom 2 – 3 Man City
City will be looking to extend their unbeaten here and get Aguero his goal to claim the club goal scoring record. I can’t see West Brom stopping them at all.
They struggled to score against Wolves, I cant see that happening twice in a row. The question here is would it be 2 or 3???
City will win without a doubt but WBA will probably be the best organised team they will play away.
RESULT Bournemouth 0 – 1 Chelsea
Hazard is back and that should be the difference here. Chelsea to win.
Chelsea are the walking dead presently and Bournemouth got a shock away win, but I expect order to be restored.
Surely Chelsea must start knocking over the smaller teams again. Surely?
RESULT Brighton 1 – 1 Southampton
Southampton have looked better, but Brighton’s 3-0 win last time out will have them confident for a result at home against a misfiring Saints.
My game changer. Lets go with a sneaky Brighton win over a plucky Southampton. Ideally this would have an 88th minute goal that makes Marcel’s prediction wrong and mine right
Brighton at home versus the extra firepower of Southampton. I think S’oton should have the edge but home advantage levels the scores for me.
RESULT Leicester City 2 – 0 Everton
Difficult one to call with Everton under Unsworth for this game. I think it will be a draw as both teams find their feet post managerial sackings.
The battle of the blues. The two teams should be fighting for the top half, but instead find themselves battlng a relegation fight. Both have sacked managers. This could be a humdinger.
A caretaker manager for Everton won’t fix the lack of pace and ideas.
RESULT: Burnley 1 – 0 Newcastle
Newcastle to edge it with a late goal? I hope so!
The Magpies are looking solid if not glamorous and should have the beating of Burnley, although it will be a good contest.

This season we score things a little differently, we’ll award 3 points to the outright winner or 1 each for draws. The loser gets none!
