Gavin: Watford 1 – 1 Palace WP + MP
Watford have been better at home than away whereas Palace have been rubbish. Palace are scoring goals but I don’t feel either team have enough to win the game.
Dirk: Watford 2 – 1 Palace
Pardew’s time is running out at Palace. Watford are a strange side though and their form is massively up and down. They’ve lost two in a row though, probably time for another win.
Marcel: Watford 0 – 1 Crystal Palace
Watford have done well so far this season but something is missing lately. I believe Palace have turned the corner but need some luck. A three-goal win against Southampton promised so much, a six-goal draw with Hull must’ve cut them deeply followed by narrow one-goal defeats to Chelsea and United. This is a chance for three points.
RESULT: Watford 1 – 1 Palace

Gavin: Arsenal 2 – 1 West Brom WP
I have to back my boys. (Sucker for pain). Not the ideal team to rebound against after two successive defeats especially as they are managed by Tony Pulis and have been playing well lately. Home advantage should see us through.
Dirk: Arsenal 1 – 1 West Brom
Arsenal have lost a bit of form, and West Brom have been looking well organised and dangerous. I can see this being a tensely fought draw.
Marcel: Arsenal 1 – 0 West Brom WP + MP
Arsenal had a little wobble recently but surely their flair and a week of rest are enough to get the kinks ironed out for a home game against WBA? Against City, Sanchez and Ozil were frustrated by the lack of work ethic from their team mates but surely Wenger would’ve ironed those out, right?
Gavin: Burnley 1 -1 Boro
Burnley have been reasonably solid at home whereas Boro are better on the road than at home. However, with Tom Heaton in goals, Burnley look more solid defensively. This is why I have chosen a draw.
Dirk: Burnley 1 – 2 Boro
Burnley have been hard to beat at home, but Boro just scored 3. I have to back Boro here, it’s another important 6 pointer for the bottom half of the table. Boro will take another 3 important points towards a more comfortable position in the table.
Marcel: Burnley 1 – 1 Middlesbrough
I have no idea actually, these two frustrate me and have cost me a wealth of superbru points this season. A draw because I can’t decide.
RESULT: Burnley 1 – 0 Boro
Gavin: Chelsea 3 – 1 Bournemouth WP
Should be another win for the Blues. They are looking sharp. Bournemouth are doing well but they should come unstuck this weekend.
Dirk: Chelsea 1 – 1 Bournemouth
I know this is a pick against the grain, but without Costa I don’t think they’ll have the same driving force with the formation they use. I see the Cherries nipping in with a goal and taking a point away from London.
Marcel: Chelsea 2 – 0 Bournemouth WP
So much talent at his disposal, even without Diego – the chop – Costa, Conte and his Chelsea Blues will walk it. I just can’t see Chelsea dropping points before the New Year’s fixture madness when the matches come thick and fast. And with Costa having a decent rest, even that might not be enough to derail their title charge.
RESULT: Chelsea 3 – 0 Bournemouth

Gavin: Leicester 1 – 3 Everton WP
Leicester are missing their main goal threat and half of their defense. They almost look resigned to not doing well. This is a perfect game for Lukaku and Everton to bounce back from the Merseyside Derby defeat.
Dirk: Leicester 2 – 1 Everton
This is one of those, who knows what will happen kind of games! Both can be brilliant and horrendous. Everton been better lately, but they lacked bite against Liverpool. Leicester showed a lot of character coming back from 2 – 0 down with 10 men and securing a draw. This will help them in this game, Leicester win.
Marcel: Leicester City 3 – 2 Everton
The last 4 matches between these two have yielded 17 league goals, so basically I’m hoping for more of the same but Leicester to win because they didn’t play a mid-week game. Everton are pretty poor lately.
RESULT: Leicester 0 – 2 Everton
Gavin: Man United 3- 0 Sunderland WP
United are starting to play the way they want to (unfortunately) and Ibra is scoring freely now. Sunderland won’t offer much to threaten them.
Dirk: Man United 2 – 0 Sunderland WP
It always pains me to predict a United win. It gives too much joy to Marcel as well. It’s Sunderland though, and it’s at Old Trafford. United have to win it really!
Marcel: Man. United 2 – 0 Sunderland WP
Mkhitaryan should be back which will add some style and flair to the right wing, not to mention insane pace and directness. Sunderland enjoying a bit of a recovery of late but I think this will be the 10th game in a row unbeaten for United.
RESULT: Manchester United 3 – 1 Sunderland
Gavin: Swansea 1 – 1 West Ham
This is a tough fixture to pick for. Swansea are not doing well at all whereas West Ham were lucky in their last match. Swansea have been playing slightly better at home though. Sigurdsson needs to fire for them if they want to survive.
Dirk: Swansea 1 – 2 West Ham WP
Swansea are in big big trouble right now. West Ham are getting results finally. I think that momentum alone will be enough against Swansea here.
Marcel: Swansea 0 – 1 West Ham WP
Another opportunity for Payet to show his suitors he is worth that January transfer price and a big salary at the next club. I sort of want him to leave and I sort of don’t. Without him, West Ham will be as awful as Hull or Swansea.
RESULT: Swansea 1 – 4 West Ham
Gavin: Hull City 0 – 3 Man City WP + MP
I see only one winner here even though Aguero is still missing for this game. Hull have just been poor.
Dirk: Hull City 0 – 3 Man City WP + MP
Hull City are at the bottom of the table for a reason. After a massive result for City against Arsenal they’ll have their tails up. Easy and big win for City here!
Marcel: Hull City 1 – 2 Man. City WP
Hull are mugs but City aren’t really playing great football. Pep was fortunate against Arsenal that the gunners wanted nothing from the fixture after the 5th minute and almost looked to be on a go-slow. City leak goals at an alarming rate but at least they hunt in packs and close down attacks when things work, a win but only because Hull are terrible.
RESULT: Hull 0 – 3 City

Gavin: Liverpool 2 – 1 Stoke WP
Liverpool’s attack should compensate for their defense. Stoke threw away a two-goal lead in their last game so they might be a little despondent.
Dirk: Liverpool 2 -1 Stoke WP
Stoke can’t hold onto a 2 goal lead against 10 men, I can’t see them going to Anfield and coming away with anything! Especially with a derby win and momentum on Liverpool’s side.
Marcel: Liverpool 2 – 0 Stoke City WP
Stoke, another team who should be further up the table but consistency is a foreign concept to them. Liverpool at Anfield are a tough nut, regardless of the manager or the style, the Kop are just like an extra man on the field.
RESULT: Liverpool 4 – 1 Stoke
Gavin: Southampton 1 -1 Spurs
Another tough match. Southampton might have found their scoring boots with Rodriguez covering for Austin. Spurs’ strikers are misfiring but their defense should be tight enough to prevent them from losing.
Dirk: Southampton 1 – 2 Spurs WP
This is a hard one to pick. The saints have been good lately, but Spurs have a lot of strength about them right now. It’ll be hard for them to get the win here, but think they’ll edge it to stay in the title hunt.
Marcel: Southampton 0 – 2 Tottenham WP
Southampton blow hot and cold, too inconsistent for my liking. Key injuries will play a role as well as the perpetual sale of anything useful to Liverpool. Spurs are a quality North London outfit and will come out on top.
RESULT: Southampton 1 – 4 Tottenham
