Muscles are being stretched, legs are limbering up and excitement is reaching extreme levels. That’s because the New Balance Impi Challenge is now just four days away. The first of the three IMPI Challenges in 2013 takes place at the van Galen’s cheese farm in Harties.
The race takes place over 12km with 17 gruelling obstacles in a challenge designed to test the mental and physical stamina of each individual challenger. Of course the braver and somewhat more fit will take on the Elite challenge, a 17km trail run with 21 obstacles incorporated.
Here are some of the obstacles that could be expected on Saturday and Sunday when the hordes of Challengers head towards van Galen’s.
I will be taking on the Orignial Challenge, the 12km route and this is the team that will be taking part in the All Things Jabu Red Sockers:
1 of Tarryl
2 of Tarryl
If you are taking part in the IMPI Challenge, send an email to [email protected] with a photo of you or your team and we will include it in our post after we complete the Challenge.
