The top six all won on Tuesday and Wednesday night setting up the weekend quite nicely. The only blip on the radar is Spurs who have fallen off the wagon completely in the last 5 matches, only winning against Palace who were rooted to the foot of the table. Highlight of the weekend will probably be United’s visit to the Emirates with both on a WWW streak. West Ham capitulated to Everton, which doesn’t bode well for their visit to the Etihad on Sunday, eventhough City had to buy 6 minutes of extra time to see off Southampton.
RESULT: Chelsea 3 – 1 Newcastle
Chelsea 2 – 2 Newcastle
Chelsea haven’t looked themselves lately and I think Newcastle will go into this game thinking they can get something out of it. I see it being an exciting draw
Chelsea 2 – 0 Newcastle
The Home side have not lost this fixture in many many games now. Newcastle are slipping up after a promising start, Chelsea to win pretty easily
Chelsea 2 – 0 Newcastle
Even with Conte watching from the stands you’d expect any Chelsea team to run riot over Newcastle in their current form.
MATCH: Brighton 1 – 5 Liverpool
A week ago and I’d think Brighton may struggle here but Liverpool are getting into form. They’ll get the points here.
Brighton will give Liverpool a game, however I expect that they wont be able to shackle Salah.
I’d be delighted if Brighton could take some points off the scum but can’t really see it happening.
RESULT: Everton 2 – 0 Huddersfield
Terriers are off the boil a bit, they’ll need to get their mojo back here as Big Sam will no doubt have a very different kind of Everton playing. At home an Everton win for me.
New manager new hope and a good home win for me
What a difference a few weeks make. Once high-flying Huddersfield are crashing and burning at the minute. Rooney might even score again.
RESULT: Leicester 1 – 0 Burnley
Burnley have been fantastic but Leicester are looking a different side under their new manager. I think at home they’ll over run Burnley.
this could be the game of the weekend. Leicester played a bit of a throwback performance in beating Spurs while Burnley are currently in 6th place and deservedly so. I think they could cancel each other out
One swallow doesn’t make a summer, Burnley are in cracking form. Perhaps the two cancel each other out.
RESULT: Stoke 2 – 1 Swansea
Really hard one to call as both teams have been massively disappointing lately. Just a question of when they’ll be fired. Think a draw will draw out the misery for both clubs…
Both are rotten, but Stoke are slightly less rotten.
If you ever wondered how knowledgeable the pundits on TV are, watch the comments about Stoke beating Liverpool on Wednesday night. Absolutely ridiculous comments from Don Hutchison.
RESULT: Watford 1 – 1 Spurs
Spurs are really not clicking right now, and Watford are one of the clubs chasing them. I think it will be an exciting game, but will be a draw.
Watford have been great and Spurs are on a slide. I wouldnt be suprised if Spurs show up for this game and get the win
Watford have been great until Tuesday when they were destroyed inside 30 minutes. Spurs need to find their spark but it’s a London derby and who knows really.
RESULT: West brom 0 – 0 Crystal Palace
When Pulis doesn’t work, will Pardew? It’s a strange sentance and Palace will enjoy beating Pardew. I’m backing them here.
Spurred on by the new manager and the two draws this week, I think West Brom will snatch a result here.
Dodgy Palace to get 3 points against even more dodgy WBA.
RESULT Arsenal 1 – 3 Manchester Utd
It’s Arsenal v United. Always cagey, but different times these days. I think Jose will go more defensive here. 1 all draw for me.
Arsenal have won the last two home meetings with United and are on a fantastic run of home form. Mourinho always sets up the bus in these games so Im expecting a bit of a boring game with neither wanting to lose
It’ll probably be a draw but I’m hoping one team can keep the chase going on the oil money club
RESULT Bournemouth 1 – 1 Southampton
Great to see Charlie Adams scoring again! (He’s a FM favourite for me). I’m backing him to score and help the Saints to victory!
The Saints were incredible in the match up with City and were beaten by a super Sterling Strike. I would expect that it took it out of them a bit and the Cherries will edge this one
Southampton looked sharp against City and should’ve scored 3 or 4. Not quite convinced with the Cherries at the moment.
RESULT: Man City 2 – 1 West Ham
City at home against Moyes West Ham… it’s going to be a goal fest that’s for sure! City to win by a few.
City are good. West Ham arent. Moyes out
It’ll either be a riot and City score 5 or there’ll be extra time added at the end of the game until City get the winner.

This season we score things a little differently, we’ll award 3 points to the outright winner or 1 each for draws. The loser gets none!
