City bounce back, Chelsea bungle along

Run Ride Dive Superbru
Sergio Aguero has been directly involved in 13 Premier League goals against Newcastle (11 goals, 2 assists), averaging a goal or assist every 49 minutes

All the talk this week is about Alexis Sanchez moving to Manchester. Is it a good move for Sanchez? Is it a good move for Manchester United? City claim they pulled out of the race because of financial reasons, this from the club that throws 50 million pounds around like confetti on Sterling, Walker and John Pebbles to name just a few. What does it mean for Arsenal? Walcott has gone to Everton this week, Sanchez looks all but gone and then Ozil might be on his way too. Can Arsenal really afford to play the youngsters week in and week out?

MATCH: Brighton 0 – 4 Chelsea

Dirk – Man City Fan
Brighton 1 – 2 Chelsea

Chelsea need the win badly, and Brighton haven’t been setting the world alight. I think Chelsea will find what they need for the win here.

Tyron – Arsenal fan

Brighton 1 – 2 Chelsea

Brighton not good enough to beat an underpar Chelsea

Marcel- Man Utd fan
Brighton 0 – 1 Chelsea
I just can’t see Chelsea drawing 5 in a row

Points: 1 – 1 – 1

MATCH: Arsenal 4 – 1 Crystal Palace

Dirk: Arsenal 2 – 1 Crystal Palace

This was surprisingly hard to call honestly. It’s Arsenal at home against Palace. It has to go the Gunners way, right?

Tyron: Arsenal 2 – 0 Crystal Palace

Arsenal at home are much better than Arsenal away from home

Marcel: Arsenal 1 – 1 Crystal Palace

Somewhat surprisingly, Palace have picked up more points in their last 8 games than Arsenal. All about who comes in and who leaves the Emirates at the moment

Points: 2 – 2 – 1

MATCH: Burnley 0 – 1 Manchester United

Dirk: Burnley 1 – 1 Manchester United

Good win against Stoke but Burnley at home won’t be as easy. I think Burnley could get a point here.

Tyron: Burnley 1 – 2 Manchester United

United to be tested, but to win this one at the end

Marcel: Burnley 0 -1  Manchester United

Tough away game for us. Hopefully snatch an early goal and then keep these tough buggers out

Points: 2 – 3 – 3

MATCH: Everton 1 – 1  West Brom

Dirk: Everton 2 – 0 West Brom

New signings could well be the difference here for Everton. West Brom need some big signings to turn things around.

Tyron: Everton 1 – 0 West Brom

Walcott to score on debut?

Marcel: Everton 1 – 0 West Brom

Walcott could be the solution to their striker/pace issues. He might just be the tonic they need

MATCH: Leicester 2 – 0 Watford

Dirk: Leicester 1 – 2 Watford

Could go either way here, but the way Watford came back in their last game for me will give them the edge here.

Tyron: Leicester 1 – 0 Watford

Leicester are just a better team than Watford, who have unfortunately gone off the boil from their fine start

Marcel: Leicester 2  – 0 Watford

On their day Watford can unsettle anyone but Leicester are just a better team

Points: 2 – 4 – 5

MATCH: Stoke 2 – 0 Huddersfield

Dirk: Stoke 1 – 1 Huddersfield

I don’t think Lambert is the solution for Stoke, a point here for Huddersfield will be good though.

Tyron: Stoke 1 – 0 Huddersfield

I mean they have Lambert now, the Lambert that got relegated last time he was in the EPL…

Marcel: Stoke 1 – 0 Huddersfield

New manager bounce? The players at Stoke can if they want to, do they want to?

Points: 2 – 5 – 6

MATCH: West Ham 1 – 1 Bournemouth

Dirk: West Ham 2 – 1 Bournemouth

West Ham are looking properly decent these days under Moyes. Points for the Hammers here, all day.

Tyron: West Ham 1 – 0 Bournemouth

West Ham are actually quite enjoyable to watch and Moyes has found his Everton Mojo again.

Marcel: West Ham 2 – 1 Bournemouth

The Hammers revival continues.

Points: 2 – 5 – 6

MATCH: Manchester City 3 – 1 Newcastle

Dirk: Manchester City 3 – 0 Newcastle

High scoring loss won’t sit well for the Citizens, expect a reaction against a Newcastle side that will struggle with City’s pace.

Tyron: Manchester City 2 – 0 Newcastle

Boring 2-0 win, maybe 3 even, but City to bounce back from their defeat

Marcel: Manchester City 3 – 1 Newcastle

City should bounce back but frailty at the back remains.

Points: 3 – 6 – 8

MATCH: Southampton 1 – 1 Tottenham

Dirk: Southampton 0 – 2 Tottenham

Spurs are on a good run of form, and Southampton can’t score a goal at all right now. Spurs with the points.

Tyron: Southampton 0 – 1 Tottenham

I hate Spurs, but Harry Kane is on form and they will win

Marcel: Southampton 0 – 3 Tottenham

Predicting large wins usually backfires but Spurs are 500% better than the Saints, man for man.

Points: 3 – 6 – 8

MATCH: Swansea – Liverpool

Dirk: Swansea 1 – 2 Liverpool

Liverpool are in form, Swansea improved. Liverpool will have too much pace and options for the Swans defence in the end.

Tyron: Swansea 0 – 2 Liverpool

currently the best attacking unit in the country against the worst team in the league. Should be easy for LFC

Marcel: Swansea 0 – 3 Liverpool

In previous seasons you’d give Swansea a chance here but Liverpool have improved, the Swans have not.
