Who takes the last top four spot?

Run Ride Dive Superbru
Sean Dyche’s side have so far won only 48 per cent of their PL points in home matches this season, the lowest in the league. Last season they won a league-high 82.5 per cent of their PL points at home

The Final round is upon us and there’s not all that much to shout about really. Chelsea could overtake Liverpool for the fourth spot and Swansea could equal Southampton’s points but it’s highly unlikely that the Saints will concede enough goals for the Swans to survive, should they win. The rest of the fixtures are really just about finances for the 8th to 17th placed teams as they hope to improve their prize money but most often with nothing much to play for the managers try to blood some of their youth players in fixtures of little significance. Let’s see if we can predict the games which mean almost nothing.

MATCH: Burnley 1 – 2 Bournemouth

Tyron: Burnley 2-0 Bournemouth

Burnley to cap off a good season in front of the home crowd

Dirk: Burnley 2 – 1 Bournemouth

Burnley – Bournemouth

Marcel: Burnley 1 – 0 Bournemouth

Not the greatest run-in for Burnley but at home they should be able to see off the Cherries

Points: 0 – 0 – 0

MATCH: Crystal Palace 2 – 0 West Brom

Tyron: Crystal Palace 2 – 0 West Brom

crystal palace to cap off a good season in front of the home crowd

Dirk: Crystal Palace 1 – 2 West Brom

Palace are safe but I think West Brom want to show they’re not the same side as they were. Win to finish off a horrid season for the Baggies.

Marcel: Crystal Palace 2 – 1 West Brom

Palace have turned a dreadful start into a reasonable season. 2018/9 should be good for them.

Arsenal have lost seven consecutive top-flight away matches for the first time since January 1966; they last went on a longer run of consecutive away defeats in May 1925 (13 defeats)

MATCH: Huddersfield Town 0 – 1 Arsenal

Tyron: Huddersfield 1-2 Arsenal

Arsenal to give Wenger some peace at last

Dirk: Huddersfield Town 3 – 3 Arsenal

A good bye to Wenger, I just think it will be like the Ferguson good bye. End to end stuff with loads of goals.

Marcel: Huddersfield Town 0 – 1 Arsenal

The Gunners away form has been rubbish, last chance to send Arsene away with a celebration

Points: 3 – 0 – 3

MATCH: Liverpool 4 – 0 Brighton

Tyron: Liverpool 2-0 Brighton

Pool to cap off a good season in front of the home crowd

Dirk: Liverpool 2 – 1 Brighton

Liverpool are in the Champions League final, surely they can beat Brighton at home to confirm Top 4?

Marcel: Liverpool 3 – 0 Brighton

I expect to see the best eleven possible for Liverpool and Brighton won’t cope with their pace.

Points: 4 – 1 – 4

United have never lost at home to Watford in 10 top-flight matches (W8 D2), winning their last six in a row

MATCH: Man. United 1 – 0 Watford

Tyron: Man utd 2-0 Watford

United to cap off a reasonably good season in front of the home crowd

Dirk: Man. United 2 – 0 Watford

Man United at home against Watford. Is there any other result than a United win?

Marcel: Man. United 1 – 0 Watford

Hopefully see Chong make an appearance.

Points: 5 – 2 – 6

Newcastle are unbeaten in their last four home Premier League matches against Chelsea, scoring at least twice in each match (W3 D1)

MATCH: Newcastle 3 – 0 Chelsea

Tyron Newcastle 1-0 Chelsea

Toon to cap off a good season in front of the home crowd

Dirk Newcastle 2 – 1 Chelsea

Rafa’s revenge at home, and a Conte farewell. Newcastle for me here today.

Marcel Newcastle 1 – 2 Chelsea

Chelsea have something to play for, Newcastle just shuffling for places in the pack.

Points: 5 – 3 – 6

MATCH: Southampton 0 – 1 Man. City

Tyron Southampton 0-3 City

City to get the 100

Dirk Southampton 0 – 3 Man. City

Goal shy saints should be safe, but City will be looking to finish off this record breaking season in style here. City to win big.

Marcel Southampton 1 – 2 Man. City

The Saints won’t stop City but Mark Hughes owes the rest of the league after gifting City the league when he was at Stoke.

Points: 6 – 4 – 7

MATCH: Swansea 1 – 2 Stoke

Tyron Swansea 21 – 0 Stoke

Because that would be the most remarkable escape ever

Dirk Swansea 2 – 0 Stoke

Swansea have a lot more to play for than a Stoke side already considering what life will be next season.

Marcel Swansea 2 – 1 Stoke

Prelude to a Championship match next season. Don’t care what happens

Points: 6 – 4 – 7

MATCH: Tottenham 5 – 4 Leicester City

Tyron Spurs 2-0 Leicester

Spurs to cap off a good season in front of the home crowd

Dirk Tottenham 2 – 1 Leicester City

Spurs to win here even though Leicester have looked better recently. At home Spurs should have enough about them.

Marcel Tottenham 3 – 0 Leicester City

Not really sure what to expect from Spurs. It could go either way really but if Kane wants some goals maybe they win

Points: 7 – 5 – 8

The Toffees have won 24 Premier League matches against West Ham and 10 of them away from home, both more than they have against any other side in the competition

MATCH: West Ham 3 – 1 Everton

Tyron West Ham 0 – 0 Everton

Football the real winner

Dirk West Ham 1 – 1 Everton

Both teams will look to one up each other but I think it will peter out to a draw.

Marcel West Ham 2 – 1 Everton

Rooney off to MLS a season too late? West Ham might raise their game to see the Toffee’s off

Points: 7 – 5 – 9

Standings at the end of Head2Head Round 29

Round 22: Tyron missed the Thursday deadline but would’ve annihilated Dirk and Marcel with 12 or more points

Dirk missed several rounds with travels around the world.

On Superbru Tyron still leads the charge for the three of us.
