The matches just don’t stop this week, we think it’s awesome, so we head straight into round 20!

Matt had a great Head2Head in round 19 and predicted 7 correct results but Marcel predicted a score exactly and the round finished with both on 7 points, Dirk had a bit of a ‘mare and only managed 4 . Don’t forget to follow Matt on twitter and visit his site!

Matt: Middlesbrough 1 – 1 Leicester WP

Leicester is going through an extremely shaky run.  I’m expecting to see a scrappy survival versus the sometimes-lethal firing line of Middlesbrough.

Dirk: Boro 2 – 1 Leicester

Boro were looking at 3 points against Untied till the 85th minute. It was another positive performance, expect Boro to get the three points at home.

Marcel: Boro 0 – 1 Leicester

I hope Leicester have enough in the tank to see off Boro, even a narrow win will help them stay up and out of the trouble zone at this point. The champions are in 15th , Boro are 16th.

RESULT: Middlesbrough 0 – 0 Leicester

Matt: Everton 1 – 1 Southampton

While I spoke highly of both teams for their respective fixtures in match week 19, I think that this is an even second tier matchup.  I’ll give a slight edge to Everton if they can continue with their current form leading up to this match.

Dirk: Everton 1 – 1 Southampton

Could well be a great game to watch, two teams capable of a lot but not delivering much at the moment. A draw for me.

Marcel: Everton 2 – 1 Southampton WP

Everton’s bizarre season continues. At home one expects them to see off a struggling Southampton though.

RESULT: Everton 3 - 0 Southampton

Burnley 4-1 SunderlandVito Mannone takes an aerial approach to clear from Johann Berg Gudmundsson (premierleague.com)

Matt: Manchester City 2 – 0 Burnley WP

Enough said.  Burnley can scrap and fight all they want, but Manchester City has too much power to be shocked at home.

Dirk: Man City 2 – 0 Burnley WP

Burnley struggle away and the Eithad will be a difficult prospect for them. City will be looking to bounce back after the disappointment at Anfield.

Marcel: City 2 – 1 Burnley WP+MP

I enjoyed the Liverpool match immensely. Also enjoyed Hull against City for the first 60 minutes or so. I’m really hoping Burnley win but won’t push my luck. It must be terrible for Pep having to manage a top 6 side rather than the best team in the league for the first time.

RESULT: Manchester City 2 - 1 Burnley

Liverpool 1-0 Manchester CityLiverpool’s Nathaniel Clyne hooks the ball clear as City player put the pressure on (premierleague.com)

Matt: Sunderland 0 – 2 Liverpool

I’m really digging Moyes’ and Sunderland’s graves with this prediction, but I expect Liverpool to win this one.  A victory, of course, to the demise of anyone who listens to call-in shows with scousers claiming the league title!

Dirk: Sunderland 0 – 3 Liverpool

Liverpool have their backs up and should have no problem getting past Sunderland. Expect Liverpool to score a few.

Marcel: Sunderland 0 – 2 Liverpool

It could be a riot but perhaps Sunderland can keep the score down to only two. Either way, barring a miracle, Liverpool two up by half-time and cruising the 2nd half.

RESULT: Sunderland 2 - 2 Liverpool

Arsenal 2-0 Crystal PalaceOlivier Giroud flicks in a sublime goal at Emirates Stadium (premierleague.com)

Matt: West Brom 1 – 0 Hull WP

Both sides made a good account of themselves in week 18. I see the back line and the front line of West Brom to be more solid than Hull’s.

Dirk: West Brom 2 – 0 Hull City WP

West Brom look strong all in all. Good performances lately, Hull are struggling and will have to surprise a lot of people to get a result away from home here.

Marcel: WBA 2 – 1 Hull WP

WBA are punching well above their weight this season. I am surprised, although, with Fletch in the team, we should expect them to push hard for a top ten position and even trouble some of the big boys.

RESULT: WBA 3 - 1 Hull

Hull City 2-2 EvertonRobert Snodgrass has been involved in 50% of Hull’s Premier League goals this season (six goals, two assists). premierleague.com

Matt: West Ham 2 – 1 Manchester United

It has to click for the Hammers at the London Stadium at some point.  Who is that team in red anyway?  (Utd goal off of a PK)

Dirk: West Ham 1 – 2 Man United WP

United to sneak another one here? West Ham such a disappointing team so far this season. Can’t see that changing here.

Marcel: West Ham 1 – 3 Manchester WP

Some lazy defending by United will allow West Ham to score after falling three behind. Jose decides to take the 2 goal margin and rests some of the greatest talent in England as a result, United close in on the top four.

RESULT: West Ham 0 - 2 Manchester United

Tuesday

Matt: Bournemouth 1-3 Arsenal

The likes of Ake gave us a really tough time the last time we played them.  With Jack on the bench, I think that the Arsenal has enough to edge this one and keep the new run going!

Dirk: Bournemouth 1 – 0 Arsenal

It feels like that kind of result here. The Cherries have been great at home. Arsenal don’t look themselves. Chance for an upset!

Marcel: Bournemouth 1 – 2 Arsenal

Bournemouth might get a goal at home but I can’t see Arsenal losing this fixture unless something goes horribly wrong for the gunners.

RESULT: Bournemouth 3 - 3 Arsenal

Matt: Crystal Palace 2-1 Swansea

I have nothing against Swansea, except for the day that we made Gomis look like a world-beater last season.  I think he’s gone back to youth team coaching already.  Regardless, Allardyce picks up his first victory here.

Dirk: Palace 2 – 1 Swansea

Palace to win at home. Swansea need a manager to get a survival run going. Right now they look like an easy fixture.

Marcel: Crystal Palace 1 – 0 Swansea

The water is rising around Swansea. Palace, who not much better off in terms of points, should be able to win at home against their fellow strugglers, otherwise, Big Sam has bigger problems than he thought when taking the job.

RESULT: Crystal Palace 1 - 2 Swansea

Matt: Stoke 2 – 1 Watford WP

After their assumed loss last match, I’ll expect the likes of Shaqiri, Arnautovic and Bojan to turn it on up top for this one.

Dirk: Stoke 2 – 1 Watford WP

Who knows what each team will bring here… Stoke for me, that have the greater potential for the 3 points especially at home.

Marcel: Stoke 2 – 0 Watford MP + WP

We all think it’s going to be one-way traffic for Chelsea and Spurs against these two. Watford’s best seems to be behind them though while Stoke are just inconsistent.

RESULT: Stoke 2 - 0 Watford

Wednesday

Matt: Tottenham 1-3 Chelsea

Spurs might snag a sloppy goal through Son, but this has a Chelsea victory written all over it.  Of course, the gunners are crossing their fingers for a brutal draw to help solidify our inevitable third-place finish.

Dirk: Spurs 2 – 1 Chelsea WP

Spurs for me. They are the team to enChelsea’sas run. Expect it to be properly heated!

Marcel: Spurs 1 – 1 Chelsea

Top of the table clash! Chelsea are almost unstoppable but a win here would equal the Premier League record of 14 straight wins. We can’t have that!

RESULT: Spurs 2 – 0 Chelsea
